A fully-threaded stud is a steel bolt that has threads on both ends (double-end), threads on one end (single-end) or continuous threads that run the full length (fully-threaded / continuous thread) .
This bolt is screwed into a metal surface and placed between two objects. The object is secured with a nut on the adjacent threaded area of the bolt. Threaded studs are stronger than normal (headed) bolts because they are forged and cast into one shape as a solid metal unit.
Threaded studs come in a variety of sizes and materials and are used in all facets of construction, manufacturing and mechanical engineering.
Advantage
The use of single headed bolt connections can avoid the use of nuts, making assembly convenient and reducing a certain amount of weight, making it suitable for some joints with high weight requirements.
Application
Bolted connections have the advantages of secure connection, convenient maintenance, and repeated use, making them widely used in various mechanical equipment.
